This Spotting Scope will make a big impression, whether you're looking at the stars or any field in front of you. The 100mm Glass (4") of aperture provides high-resolution images of stunning clarity. This scope is perfect for light-critical and far away watching applications such as birdwatching at dusk or dawn, and observing in overcast or shaded conditions. It focuses well, even at close range - field of view at 1,000 yards - 83 ft. at 33X, 32 ft. at 100X, and 2.75 ft. at 100 yards, 6mm exit pupil, 12-16mm eye relief. Measures 21" in length. Weighs 4 lbs. 11 oz. w/o Tripod.

The size of the objective lens determines the light-gathering capacity of a spotting scope. More light provides more clarity and detail for a brighter, clearer image. Generally large objective lenses are heavier and more valuable.
